Boston

Boston is a vivid city and has been so ever since its founding in 1630 by English colonists. It is here that the cradle of the American Revolution can be found. The American Revolution was started by the Boston tea party, in which the American civilians refused to pay tax to the British Empire without being represented in the senate. By destroying the tea on the British trade companies ships, the American civilians showed their displeasure with the British reign.  Two years later, near Boston, the first battle between the American colonies and the British forces took place. Finally the treaty of Versailles brought independence for the colonies, but still there was a long way to go before the United States of America were established.
