Requirements
The study tour is a master course with a weight of 4 ECTS and there a number of conditions to meet for one's participation. The terms are formulated by the exam committee of molecular science and the Stichting Buitenlandse Studiereizen:
1. Conditions formulated by exam committee:
a) Students who have followed or are following a bachelor molecular life sciences or chemistry at the Radboud university are obligated to meet the following requirements:

Before the start of the study tour the propedeutics chemistry or molecular life sciences have to be obtained. This means that all courses from the first year must have been passed (one 5 is allowed).

Before the start of the study tour admittance to follow master courses is a needed. This means the possession of at least 162 ECTS in the bachelor.

The courses also must be a part of a FNWI master to participate. The department of the intern ship is of no importance. Another related master like molecular mechanisms of disease (MMD) is basically not allowed!
b) Students who have followed HLO education at a HBO establishment or chemistry or chemical technology at a HTO department are obligated by the committee of examination of chemistry to meet the following requirements:

To have obtained a HBO or HTO diploma and 30 ECTS in the chemistry connection program.

To follow or going to follow a chemistry or molecular life sciences master at the FNWI. The department of the intern ship is of no importance. Another related master like molecular mechanisms of disease (MMD) is basically not allowed!
2. To give the master course the right scientific content, the Stichting buitenlandse studiereizen also obligates you to meet some requirements:

a pre-study which takes 50 hours pp. Alone or with a companion about a subject on the yet to be selected destination (i.e. history, economics, culture). You will present your results at a symposium organised by the committee before the journey. You also have to write a report on the subject which will be examined by the staff members of the study tour 2009.
OR
a case-study with a companion at a chemically related concern or department at the university. This will be practical research or a literature study which takes about 50 hours. For this work the committee will receive an in advance established amount of money. The concern or department will mark this case-study. -
It is obligated to be present at the symposium organised by the study tour committee before the journey.

Writing daily-reports during the journey. Each day a couple will write a report and in the end this will be placed in the final report.
3. Finally, there are also some financial requirements:

To pay a yet to determine individual amount for the study tour. (target amount lies around the 800 Euro)

To keep in mind that there are costs besides tour sum. Food and Drinks are not included!
